On 7<\/span>-11<\/span> September 2026, Dr. Junichi Kurokawa, <\/span>Head<\/span> of the<\/span> Data Management Department, Asia Center for Air Pollution Research (ACAP)<\/span>, <\/span>participated<\/span> in the <\/span><\/span>2026 International Blue Sky Conference\/Symposium & Workshop<\/span><\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span>held in <\/span><\/span>Seoul,<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>the Republic of Korea<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>as an invited speaker.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference brought together experts from international organizations, government agencies, and research institutions to discuss scientific and policy approaches for addressing air pollution and related environmental challenges.<\/p>\n

Dr. Kurokawa spoke in Session 3 of Symposium held on 7 September, \u201cFrom Science to Governance: Building Effective Policy Responses to PM2.5 and Ozone,\u201d and delivered a presentation entitled \u201cRegional Emission Inventories for PM\u2082.\u2085 and Ozone Management: From Source Identification to Policy Design.\u201d In addition, on the first day (8 September) of the four-day Workshop held from 8 to 11 September, he delivered a lecture entitled \u201cDevelopment and Application of Emission Inventories in Asia.\u201d<\/p>\n

ACAP will continue to contribute to regional cooperation and the advancement of science-based air quality management through its activities and collaboration with partners in Asia.<\/p>\n
