Release of Summary of the Twentieth Anniversary of the EANET

The EANET is a regional intergovernmental network established in 2001 to promote cooperation among 13 Participating Countries in East Asia to address acid deposition problems. In the last 20 years, the EANET has achieved excellent progress in acid deposition monitoring cooperation. At its significant milestone, EANET has analyzed the data accumulated over the past 20 years from the scientific point of view and summarized it as an EANET publication. This publication, “The Summary of the Twentieth Anniversary of the EANET”, was released on 26 November 2021. This Summary provides the common understanding of the status of acid deposition in East Asia in an easy-to-understand manner and guidance for future activities for the EANET. It targets policymakers, the general public, and various organizations that may be expected to become EANET partners in the near future.
