Senior Researcher Sasaki’s research findings published as open-access

A research team led by Senior Researcher Hiroyuki Sasaki of the Asia Center for Air Pollution Research, in collaboration with researchers from Japan Environmental Sanitation Center and Niigata Prefectural Office, attempted to determine the presence of AMPs at four sites (Niigata-Sowa and Kawasaki (urban), Kasabori Dam (rural) and Ogasawara (remote)) as the first survey of AMPs in Japan using micro-Raman spectroscopy, which has excellent sensitivity and spatial resolution.

Their findings were published in the Sep. 11, 2024 issue as open-access.
