Symposium "Challenge to tackle with transboundary air pollution -the latest knowledge and recent trend -" (2011)

Symposium

 Under the Strategic Research Project, Scientific Analysis of Regional Air Pollution and Promotion of Air Pollution Management in East Asia Considering Co-benefitsh (Project Leader: Hajime AKIMOTO, Director General, Asia Center for Air Pollution Research) supported by Environment Research and Technology Development Fund of the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, we are carrying on the research activities on the solution for the transboundary air pollution problems. To introduce the contents of this research and to have an opportunity to think about regional air pollution issues in East Asia in general, the public symposium was held at Akihabara, Tokyo. The symposium was well-attended by about 80 persons. The participants listened intently to presentations and exchanged the views at question and answer session with the presenters.
